AVTA Bus Information

AVTA’s top priority is the health and safety of our passengers and employees. On September 20, 2021, Antelope Valley Transit Authority (AVTA), will resume full local and commuter service to those in the AV community that count on AVTA to get them where they need to go. On Monday, September 20, AVTA’s Local Transit Routes will return to their regular schedule. Route 8, servicing the Palmdale and Lancaster campuses of Antelope Valley College, will have a minor schedule modification to provide improved opportunity charging of AVTA’s electric bus on this route.

Antelope Valley Partners for Health cares deeply about our community, participants, and employees, especially during this time of concern regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus. It is our top priority to follow the latest recommendations and guidelines to ensure everyone’s health and safety. We are continuously monitoring information we receive from the City of Lancaster, the City of Palmdale, the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH), and from our funders.

At this time, there will be no public access to outside vendors, participants, or clients (access is limited to staff and tenants only). All scheduled presentations, groups, events, fitness classes, and nutrition classes are cancelled as of Monday, March 16, 2020. Our staff will not be participating in any outreach events or community presentations, effective Monday, March 16, 2020. We will be conducting business via phone, email, and/or web-based programs. We understand this is not ideal, but it is essential to ensure our health and safety.
